6 STEPS TO HAVING A SEMINAR

Step 1 -  Decide if you want an ADULT seminar, a CHILDREN'S seminar and/or a Children's Teacher seminar.

Step 2 - Choose a suitable date for your seminar.  While they can be at any time, experience has taught us it is best to start on Sunday morning.  By starting on Sunday morning you use the least advertising to obtain the best attendance.

(Helpful hint #1) - Choose at least two (2) suitable back-up dates if your first choice is not available.
(Helpful hint #2) - Consult the "Calendar" page to determine if your date is available.

Step 3 -  Decide if you want 3 sessions, 4 sessions or 5 sessions.  Realize, there is no "fluff" in the seminar, there's no "fat" to be taken out.  The more time we have, the more we teach and the more impacting it will be in  the lives of your people and the future of your church.  We can do "more" or "less" - but your decision WILL impact the degree of
life-change that takes place during our time together.

Step 4
-  Choose suitable times and a schedule for your seminar.  We've found that the best schedule gives 40-50 minutes in the morning service followed by 3 or 4 more 1-hour sessions.  They may be done after lunch and through the afternoon or 2-hours on Sunday evening and 2 more hours on Monday evening.  (So we don't kill your folks or wear them out, plan a short break between sessions.)  Each sessions requires a full 60-minutes of actual teaching time.
I don't encourage a lot of music or announcements during this time because it adds to  the length of time your folks will be there.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note:      I'm happy to meet any schedule that will work best for your church, but experience shows that those who start on some other day (Friday, for example) - will have some people who miss the first sessions and come later saying, "Oh, if I'd known it was going to be good, I'd have tried to come earlier." - But, by then, it's too late.

Step 5
-  Submit your chosen dates and schedule to me via e-mail:  (See Seminar Request tab on previous page).  We'll check our calendar to see if we can work out the dates and times you have chosen.

Step 6
-  Once we have agreed upon a date, submit a ($500) deposit for the seminar to the address on the "Contact Us" page.   The deposit is refundable up to 90-days before the scheduled seminar.  Within 90 days of the seminar it is non-refundable.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note:      Why is there a deposit? - When I reserve a date for someone, I don't allow anyone else to infringe on  that time. If a church cancels their seminar within 90-days of the seminar date - it's too late to make that date available to others...
and yet, our normal bills keep coming.  This helps us offset our normal expenses and make up for lost seminars.
