Dr. Robison left a Senior pastorate to co-found “UnveilinGlory” Ministries in 1999 with Bob Sjogren. Gerald serves as Vice-President in this ministry dedicated to Unveiling God’s glory in all areas of life and to all peoples of the world. His passion is to see God’s people become excited and committed to glorifying God and to taking the gospel to all peoples.
His ministry has also included writing. He co-authored “Cat and Dog Theology”with Bob Sjogren. Gerald is also the author of "A Dog's Tale: An Allegory On What's Gone Wrong in Missions and Evangelism", "Because He Liked It: 101 Glimpses of God's Glory in the Animal World" and "Crocs Eat Rocks: Another 101 Glimpses of God's Glory in the Animal World". Many of his articles have been published in international Christian papers.
Gerald also continues to teach and train for Walk Thru the Bible Ministries (for over 27 years now). Gerald has led “Walk Thru the Bible Seminars” in over 24 different countries through Eastern and Western Europe, Africa and the Middle East, as well as here in the United States. He has trained and evaluated many of the American teachers and, as the International Training Manager, oversaw the recruiting, training and dispersing of over 1,200 WTB teachers throughout the world.
Dr. Robison was honored consistently as one of the top-ten instructors at Walk thru the Bible, and has been one of the few chosen as the Instructor of the Year.
He serves as “Speaker-At-Large” for UnveilinGLORY, often speaks at “Steeling the Mind” conferences (see www.Compass .org) around the nation and has been the Key-Note Speaker for the New South Wales’ annual “School of Theology” and the Tumut Christian Convention in Australia. He has spoken at the European Baptist Convention in Interlaken, Switzerland, and inspired laymen as the Keynote Speaker for regional Gideon’s conventions in international venues. He was also the youngest faculty member to be teaching at Luther Rice Seminary.
Gerald’s preparation for ministry include a B.A. (Mercer University), Th.M. (Luther Rice Seminary), M.Ed. (Georgia State University), D.Min (Luther Rice Seminary) plus other graduate work at University of North Florida, Simon Greenleaf School of Law, the International Institute of Theology and Law and the International Institute of Human Rights (University of Strasbourg, France).
During his time of ministry he has not only started a new church work and mission, but has served as pastor in developed churches, both, in the States (Georgia and Florida) and in international settings (Australia and the Netherlands). Gerald has also been on the faculty of Luther Rice Seminary and Australia’s Word Of Life Bible College.
Gerald and Sharon have been married for 38 years, have two daughters and 7 grandchildren. They are residents of Jacksonville, FL… after having lived around the world (Australia and the Netherlands, as well as closer to home in South – Virginia, Florida and Georgia). Gerald, born in W.Va., grew up in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina and met Sharon – at church, in Stone Mountain, Ga.
